Worship Ministry

The OBC Worship Team is lead by Pastor Marty Thomas, who you can find more about on our staff page.  This ministry leads our church in worship every Sunday morning and is accompanied by several musicians including our church pianist, Barbara Roth. If you would like to find out more information on being on the worship team, please contact Marty Thomas. The worship team also works with our drama team to produce two major musicals a year during Easter and Christmas including outdoor scenes near the Galleria mall.

Want to Get Involved?

If you would like to come check out a practice, stop by on Wednesdays at 6:45pm in the choir room (upstairs in the big building...listen for the singing). Also, if God has given you a talent to play an instrument, let us know! This is a great opportunity to serve the Lord at Oakdale Baptist Church.
